Tom DeHart Sr. makes his final sales call
It is with great sadness that we must advise that Tom DeHart Sr., founder of Special Metals in 1959, passed away on Tues. Feb. 8th. He was a salesmans salesman, and we trust he is comfortable sitting in the lobby in the sky, waiting for the kind purchasing manager with the new PO.

Magic Precision Die Casting adds new facility.
Magic Precision Die Casting based in Taichung, Taiwan announced the acquisition of a new production facility complimenting their existing location in Taiwan, and their plant in Shuzho, China. The new plant has 4410 m2 of space. Initially additonal CNC machining capability along with inspection and assembly will be located here. Plans are to add new die casting machines, and grow the contract assembly side of the business. New meeting and showrooms will also be added.
